Job Description

UFAZ is an ambitious project initiated by the Presidents of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the French Republic in 2014. It is administered by the historic university of Azerbaijan - the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU) from the Azerbaijani side and the prestigious University of Strasbourg (Unistra) from the French side.

UFAZ delivers 2 national diplomas (Azerbaijani and French) at the Bachelor’s level in the following specialties: Computer Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Geosciences and Geophysical Engineering, Oil and Gas Engineering. And at the Master’s level in the following specialties: Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, Physical Chemistry/Chemical Engineering, Geosciences, Water Resources and Management. Tuition language is English.

Position in the organizational structure: Attached to the Strategic Development and Partnership Department of the French-Azerbaijani University (UFAZ)

About position summary:

This is a full-time on-site internship role as an SMM Graphic Designer at UFAZ. The SMM Graphic Designer intern will be responsible for creating graphics, designing logos, working on branding projects, and utilizing typography skills. The intern will contribute to social media marketing campaigns and assist with various design tasks.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the design team to develop and execute creative solutions for various projects such as marketing materials, social media graphics, presentations, and website elements.

Design engaging and visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and layouts using software tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and etc.

Prioritize tasks effectively, manage workload efficiently, and meet deadlines for multiple design projects simultaneously.

Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and concepts for design projects, campaigns, and initiatives.

Help maintain and enhance brand consistency across all design projects by adhering to brand guidelines and standards.

Prepare design files for print or digital publication, ensuring accurate specifications and high-quality output.

Requirements

Master's degree diploma or current enrollment in a master's program

Graphics, Graphic Design, and Logo Design skills

Experience with branding projects

Typography skills

Proficiency in design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)

Knowledge of social media platforms

Creativity and attention to detail

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Prior experience or coursework in graphic design is a plus

Fluency in English is beneficial
